Counselling

Anne is a qualified counsellor and a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy. She has over 20 years experience of working with individuals, couples and groups.

After completing her degree, she trained as a teacher and worked with young people aged 12-18 for a number of years. She then studied and qualified as a counsellor. Anne works as a Person Centred Counsellor, providing a non-judgemental and confidential space in which to explore issues. She has experience of working with a wide range of issues, including: relationships, life changes, anxiety, loss and bereavement, low self esteem, stress and many more.

Anne believes that the cornerstone of effective counselling lies in the quality of communication between those involved. To this end, anyone thinking of coming to counselling is encouraged to book a free initial session where they can decide if counselling would be of help.

Anne is happy to work with clients, either doing short term work (usually 6 sessions) or longer term work. This can be agreed at the initial session.

Anne is married and lives in Glastonbury and further details can be found at www.annemccreanorcounselling.co.uk
