Counselling & Psychotherapy

What is counselling?

Counselling is a talking therapy where you have the opportunity to discuss emotional and psychological issues in complete confidence.

Who is it for?

Anyone can benefit from counselling.  I offer you a safe place to work through whatever you need to talk about and will listen to you without judgement.  I offer one to one counselling with adults and young people for weekly hour-long sessions for as long as you need.

What can counselling help with?

Counselling can help with a variety of common mental health problems including depression, anxiety, stress, phobias and OCD.  I also work with trauma, PTSD and abuse issues, grief and loss and addictions.

How I work

I am trained as an integrative counsellor and work holistically with the mind, soul, emotions and body according to the nature of your difficulty.  I like to work creatively and can offer therapy using music, art and food.

I specialise in addiction counselling and clients living with disabilities and life limiting illnesses.  Male identity issues in these confusing times are another special interest.

I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy and work within their ethical framework.  I am also a member of the International Cultic Studies Association and will work with survivors of cults and spirtual abuse.
