Solution Focused Hypnotherapy

 

Solution Focused Hypnotherapy is an effective method of changing unwanted behaviours, attitudes and thought processes. The therapist draws upon the knowledge from the most successful therapeutic techniques including CBT (Cognitive Behaviour Therapy), NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming), together with the most up to date, evidence-based facts on neuroscience.

 

What is Hypnotherapy?

 

Hypnotherapy is a combination of psychotherapy techniques and hypnosis. It is a natural but effective way to treat all kinds of emotional, nervous or psychological problems. 

 

In order for treatment to be genuinely successful long term, the client needs to understand how the brain works. I explain how we can suffer from anxiety, stress and low mood and then most importantly, what we can do about it. I work in collaboration with the client, focusing on solutions, rather than analysing problems or reliving painful memories of the past. I specialise in helping people to overcome anxiety, but hypnotherapy can help with many problems.
